How To Make A Portable Hacking Device Using An Android Phone

Hello everyone today! I will discuss how to make a portable hacking machine using an android phone.

There are many ways to make a portable hacking device. It is too simple to make. But, one thing a hacking device is not existing because companies do not build a hacking device. Yes, companies do not make hacking devices. But don’t worry.

Some devices are available to make portable hacking machines.

● Raspberry Pi

● OnePlus

● Xiaomi

● Nexus

● Samsung

● Gemini

● LG

● Nokia

● Sony Xperia

● Zerolte

● ZTE

These devices are supported by Kali Nethunter(Kali NetHunter is a free and open-source mobile penetration testing platform for Android devices, based on Kali Linux.). First, you change or flash ROM like custom ROM using a jailbreaking (for ios) or bootloader unlocking(for android with rooted device), so you can make a portable hacking device.

There are many handy devices like raspberry pi, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Samsung, and Nexus that’s are supported by Kali Nethunter. But today, we are discussing Nexus 5. Because Nexus 5 is fully supported Kali Nethunter like WiFi monitor mode(Internal WiFi chip 2.4GHz and 5Ghz), packet injection, HID Keyboard Attacks, BadUSB attacks, Evil AP MANA attacks, and many more.

Required Hardware and Software :

Hardware :

● Nexus 5 or any Android Phone or IPhone.

● PC or Desktop or Laptop

OS & Tool :

● Windows or Ubuntu or Kali Linux or Mac OS.

Now, I am using a Kali Linux operating system.

● Update:

 sudo apt update

● Install ADB & Fastboot:

 sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot

● Turn off your Nexus 5 and reboot it into fastboot mode Holding Power + Vol. Down Key and Connect it with your PC using a USB cable

● Check connected devices:

 fastboot devices

● Then Unlock Bootloader of Your Nexus 5:

 fastboot oem unlock

● Install TWRP recovery mode:

 fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

● Flash recovery: Now boot into recovery by either using menu in fastboot or holding volume up + power

Nexus 5 Devices:

● Nethunter OS (based on CM 14.1): nethunteros-nethunter-hammerhead-cm-14.1-hammerhead.zip

● kalifs-full.tar.xz: kalifs-full.tar.xz

Flashing in TWRP:

● If you have recovery mode on, you will need to copy the Nethunter OS zip file to your device.

● Wipe any previous ROMs by going to wipe tab. Select Advanced Wipe & system/data/cache.

● Finally, go to install button and select Nethunter OS zip file.

Setting Up:

● Reboot your device. When it starts up the first time it will reboot once, don’t be nervous.

● After your device loads go through the normal CM setup. Copy the kalifs-full.tar.xz from your computer to your device. Then:

1: Go to the Nethunter app

2: Go to “Kali Chroot Manager” after accepting permissions. If previous Chroot was found click “Remove Chroot” first.

3: Click on “Install Chroot” > Use SDCARD > Use Full

4: Exit out of app and run Nethunter terminal app and launch into Kali terminal.

Monitor mode specifics:

● There is a specific binary file for loading monitor mode inside chroot. To run it inside Kali terminal:

 source monstart-nh

● To stop run:

 source monstop-nh

Conclusion:

I know Nexus 5 is a very old phone, but now you can choose latest Oneplus 7/pro or Xiaomi k20/Mi9T phone to make portable hacking device. This device is very simple to use and supports monitor mode and packet injection (internal Wi-Fi chip 2.4GHz or 5GHz).
